Amber Harris
Samsung Life Blue Minx (WKBL) confirmed in their roster 29-year old American power forward Amber Harris (195-98kg-88, college: Xavier). She played there last season. In 25 WKBL games she had 10.6ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.1bpg.
The previous (14-15) season Harris played at Energa Torun in Polish TBLK where in 14 games she recorded 4.9ppg and 3.4rpg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.
In 2011 Harris was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) as 4th pick overall.
The former Xavier University staris in her sixth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her team won WNBA Western Conference Regular Season for two years in a row (2011 and 2012). Harris was also voted All-Atlantic 10 Player of the Year back in 2010 and 2011 at her college time.
Harris is quite experienced player. Her career allowed her to visit three different continents, while she played in four different countries. Harris tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. She has played previously professionally in Israel (Elitzur Ramla), Italy, Korea (KEB Hanabank) and Turkey (Besiktas).
